THE ANIRUDH VARMA COLLECTIVE :

The Anirudh Varma Collective (AVC) is a contemporary Indian classical ensemble from New Delhi, India. It is led by pianist, composer & producer, Anirudh Varma. The Anirudh Varma Collective comprises musicians & artistes from across India, America, and Canada. The Collective aims to discover, re-discover, and present the tradition & diversity of Indian music in a contemporary yet rooted manner in order to reach and connect with the masses.
The Collective has released 2 full-length albums, 'Perspectives' (2018) and Homecoming (2022), both of which have received critical acclaim. They have performed at HCL Concerts, The Jaipur Literature Festival, The Mahindra Kabira Festival, Surajkund Crafts Mela, the Virasat Festival in Dehradun, as well as the Festivals of India in Maldives and Kuwait; to name a few. AVC’s second album ‘Homecoming’ has also been featured amongst the top 15 Indian albums of 2022 by Rollingstone India.

THE CLASSICAL QUARTET : The AVC Classical Quartet was born out of the desire of working on traditional Indian Classical compositions in a contemporary Baithak format. This resulted in an unrehearsed and impromptu performance. The idea is to feed off each other's energy and hear what comes of it!
